چکیده

The formulator of aquatic diets is part a continuous search for alternative protein sources instead depreciated fish meal. utilization zooplankton as feed ingredient an interesting trend due to their high-quality content and abundance essential nutrients. current study aims investigate the effects partial total replacement meal (FM) by Dahpnia magna (DMM) on growth performance, utilization, histological, economic status mullet, M. cephalus, larvae. In addition control diet, 100% FM, D0, four containing DMM at different levels were used: 25% (D25), 50% (D50), 75% (D75), (D100) A 300 larvae (0.097 ± 0.001 g) equally divided into five groups (three replicate per each group) density 200 m?3. aquariums renewed rate 30% daily. During 60-day experimental period, all fed respective level 20% live body weight, times day (9.00 a.m., 12.00, 15.00, 18.00, 21.00 p.m.). results indicated that compared D75 recorded highest significant value growth, parameters, while D100 achieved lowest cost incidence cost, profit index efficiency ratio. strong correlation was reported among weight gain, conversion ratio with DMM; R2 = 0.94 0.91, respectively. fit regression model representing mullet response FM poly-nominal maximum 75–100%. histological investigation intestine revealed improvement histomorphometric indices goblet cell number increasing inclusion levels. These findings confirmed substitution ideal improving performance utilization.

Infection and pathogenecity of Myroides odoratimimus (NIOCR-12) isolated from the gut of grey mullet (Mugil cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758)).

Myroides sp. are gram negative aerobes and known for its oppurtunistic pathogenicity in humans. In the present study, Myroides odoratimimus isolated from the gut of Mugil cephalus showed potential infectivity to the experimental grey mullet and acted as an ultimate pathogen with significant symptoms. Furthermore, the inoculum isolated from the infected fishes were cultured and the selected colo...

considering the crucial importance of daphnia species in aquaculture, in particular for artificially- cultured sturgeon fry, a comprehensive study on the hatching requirements of their diapausing eggs seemed to be inevitable in order to obtain the ideal hatching technique. to do so, the ephippial eggs were collected from live food ponds in the cultivation and breeding centre of gorgan and after...
